Cocoon Developer App + Phaser JS Canvas+ issue

  • Cocoon Version:
    Cocoon Developer App (New canvas+ 2.6.0 with v8 5.8)

  • Basic description of the problem:
    the new version “New canvas+ 2.6.0 with v8 5.8” just crashed the testing for Phaser framework,

  • Device info:
    Pixel 2 XL, Android 8.1.0

  • Steps will reproduce the problem:

  • Debug using Cocoon developer app
  • choose Canvas+
  • Expected result:
    the game will run

  • Error log
    Javascript Exception (Tag:‘DOMContentLoaded’): TypeError: Cannot read property ‘onSuspended’ of undefined at Phaser.Stage.checkVisibility (libraries/phaser.js:17418:25)

  • Testcase:
    Attach a compressed test case to reproduce the issue

  • Other information:
    it’s working fine when debugging with WebView

  • Webview engine(s):
    it’s working fine when debugging with WebView

  • Used plugins (if relevant):
    Any relevant plugins that you are using

  • Framework/game engine (if relevant):
    Phaser JS (2.1.1)


I have the same issue, it started after the Cocoon developer app was updated, they changed the CocoonJS.App interface.


Are willing to reply to this guys?? can you please consider testing your stuff before deployment


I am running into this issue also. I am using v2.8.3. Is this an issue on Cocoon’s end or am I doing something wrong?
